Mould Shop Over 90% of Quansboro's business is now plastic injection moulding, the balance being toolmaking and precision engineering. We are actively investing in new machinery and our objective is to have a comprehensive range of moulding machines from 50 - 150 tonnes. We operate 24 hours a day, to maximise efficiency, and offer fast turnarounds for urgent orders. The shop is very well organised with all the services necessary to ensure the necessary quality from all machines. The mould shop is backed by Ancillaries, Transport, Toolmaking and Inspection. Ancillaries Full range of hopper driers, mould heaters, conveyors, sprue separators, cooling towers and lifting equipment. Transport Ford Iveco 7.5 tonne delivery lorry for daily deliveries where required. Toolmaking We have a small facility to deal with production breakdowns; in addition we have two associate toolmaking companies who can provide full toolmaking facilities when required. Inspection Shadowgraphs, slips, micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and a range of other engineering inspection equipment, calibrated to national standards.
